
CES Families: On Tuesday, May 13th, the 5th grade parent meeting will begin at 5:00pm. At this meeting you will get information on the 5th grade parade and waivers to attend Skyzone will be completed. If you can't make it to the meeting, you can go online and complete the waiver now. Please make sure you have the Charleston, WV location selected. This meeting will be followed by LSIC at 5:30 and PTO at 6:00. All are welcome to attend!

CES Families: Happy marvelous Monday! WV General Summative Assessment (GSA) begins this week. On Friday, our 5th graders will kick-off our testing season with the science test, The specific dates for your child's test can be found on the classroom newsletter. The Ravenswood-area Elementary Track meet will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Ravenswood Grade School. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call your child's school. CES Families: Also, next week is our spring testing for math and reading iReady. Please encourage your child to do his or her best. We are excited to see the growth made throughout the year. As a little incentive, the student with the most growth in each subject will get to "pie" Mrs. Durst! We will have a winner for each subject in K-2 and 3-5!

CES Families: Whew, what a busy week we have ahead of us! Tomorrow is picture day, Thursday is the field trip, and Friday is the kindergarten program at 6:00. Looking ahead, we have PTO next Tuesday @ 6:00 and the first elementary track meet too. Mark your calendars for April 15th; it is Wendy's Night (at the Ripley location) from 4-8!

Also, by utilizing our NTI Days and Equivalent Time Days when schools were closed due to inclement weather, the last day of school for students is still May 30, 2025.
